My stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo was a mixed experience. While the room was beautiful and the onsen was a dream, the location is pretty dull and the dining options were limited. I found it to be a very stylish hotel, but there were cleanliness issues that made it hard to fully enjoy the luxury.

Rooms
9.0
The executive triple room was spacious and had luxurious beds that I really enjoyed. It was modern and stylish, featuring elegant furnishings and even a TV hidden behind a mirror, which added a unique touch.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and lovely, always willing to help, but the English speaking ability wasn't great, which was surprising for a place like this. They really need to work on the customer service aspect to match the five-star expectations.
Location
6.0
Located in the financial district, it was a bit dull and felt empty, especially after the busyness of other parts of Tokyo. However, the calm environment did offer a nice retreat after a long day.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were quite limited, with only a few simple choices available. I splurged on the restaurant dinner which was delicious, but breakfast in the room felt basic and not worth the price.
Facilities
9.0
The communal areas were great, with complimentary drinks and Japanese treats throughout the day. The onsen was truly impressive, with an open-air skylight that made it a nice experience.

I had an amazing six-night stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo. The beautiful traditional decor and spacious room made my experience really enjoyable. I loved the onsen and the communal tea rooms, though I found the shoe policy a bit of a hassle when waiting for groups with kids. Overall, I would definitely come back!

Rooms

The room was super spacious with a comfy bathroom featuring a deep soaking tub. The bedding was some of the most comfortable I've experienced, and the room had modern Japanese style. However, I struggled a bit with the hidden TV remote functionality from my bed.
Service
10.0
The staff was really good and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of my bags being taken to my room while I relaxed in the lounge area with snacks and drinks.
Location
10.0
The hotel is centrally located, making it easy for me to explore Ginza and other nearby attractions. I loved being a short walk away from Tokyo station.
Dining
8.0
Dining options were a bit limited, especially breakfast with only Japanese and Western choices. I was a fan of the convenience of the 24-hour room service, but I did wish for more variety in the selection.
Facilities
9.0
The on-site facilities, including the communal pantry and onsen, were stellar, providing a unique touch to the stay. I hoped for a bit more in-room amenities, like a filtered water dispenser.

Staying at Hoshinoya Tokyo was an amazing experience. The combination of luxurious amenities and traditional Japanese hospitality truly elevated my visit. However, the requirement to remove shoes upon entering sometimes led to delays, especially when large groups were present.

Rooms

The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully furnished, featuring a stunning deep Japanese soaking tub. The bed was among the most comfortable I've ever experienced, and the design cleverly maximized the space with hidden compartments.
Service
8.0
While the service was mostly excellent, there were times when communication was a bit challenging, as some staff had limited English skills. Despite this, the service was attentive and aimed to make me feel special.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was perfect, just a ten-minute walk from Tokyo Station, making it easy to explore the city while also being away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
Dining

The in-room breakfast was excellent, especially the traditional Japanese offerings, although the dining selection was somewhat limited with only two choices: Japanese and Western.

The on-site onsen on the 17th floor was a true highlight, offering a serene escape with a beautiful view. The communal lounge stocked with snacks and drinks added to the overall comfort and convenience of the stay.

My stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo was a amazing experience, from the serene rooms to the refreshing onsen. The only downside was the shoe policy, which could be inconvenient during busy times. Overall, it was an really good blend of comfort and serene atmosphere. 🏨💖

Rooms

The room was spacious and beautifully designed, featuring a deep soaking tub and eco-friendly toiletries. The bedding was some of the most comfortable I've ever experienced, although I did wish for firmer pillows. Additionally, the electronic blinds and hidden TV added a modern touch.
Service

The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, going above and beyond during my stay. However, I did experience some issues due to language barriers which made certain requests challenging.
Location
10.0
The location struck a perfect balance, providing a quiet retreat while still being a short walk from Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace. It was easy to explore the surrounding gardens and neighborhoods.
Dining
9.0
The in-room dining options were good, especially the Japanese-style breakfast. I enjoyed the snacks available throughout the day in the communal lounge, though I preferred a more substantial breakfast choice than just tea and toast.
Facilities

The on-site onsen on the 17th floor was a highlight, offering a unique experience of soaking while gazing at the Tokyo skyline. However, I would have appreciated amenities like a filtered water dispenser in the room.

My stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo was an intriguing mix of traditional aesthetics and modern luxury. The onsen was a highlight, offering a unique experience above the city's hustle. However, I found some of the service not as attentive as I'd hoped, and navigating their dining reservations was frustrating.

Rooms

The rooms are compact yet beautifully furnished, utilizing every inch wisely. I appreciated the hidden compartments and the high-tech features such as the TV that emerges from a mirror. 😍
Service

While most of the staff were friendly, the communication regarding dining and other requests left much to be desired. I struggled to get answers and often had to go down to the front desk for assistance.
Location

The location is fantastic, being a short walk from Tokyo Station and near attractions like the Imperial Palace. It felt serene despite being in the city center.
Dining

The in-room breakfast was good, particularly the Japanese style. However, I quickly learned that booking dinner well in advance is essential, as options can be quite limited. 🍽️
Facilities

The onsen on the 17th floor was truly amazing, offering a relaxing escape with a beautiful skylight. However, I found other facilities to be a bit average, with limited options and communication.
